Celebrate EADP’s 40th Anniversary

Help support scholarships for UNT's Emergency Management program!

Help UNT beat UTSA on and off the field!

Our goal? To have more philanthropic support for our students and university than UTSA does for theirs. From October 27 until the clock strikes midnight on November 4, we have the opportunity to join in generosity and be change-makers in our students' lives. We can help provide them with the resources they need, both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring they soar to incredible heights!

$10,000 hangs in the balance! It'll go to the university with the most support from their donors during the challenge period. Are you ready to join us in making history?

Last year, EADP and EMDS alumni and friends set a goal to create two newly endowed scholarships as part of the yearlong celebration of EADP’s 40th anniversary.  Every dollar donated will help us meet this goal and change the lives of our students.

UNT’s Department of Emergency Management and Disaster Science offers the nation’s first and most respected undergraduate program in Emergency Administration and Planning and plays an integral role in the North Texas region and beyond.  Our undergraduate and graduate programs prepare the next generation of emergency managers and disaster science scholars to serve the profession through promotion of societal resilience. These scholarships will help our students fund their education and enable them to pursue careers and research that help individuals, businesses, governments, and nonprofits prepare for, respond to and recover from a variety of disasters including floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, hazardous material spills, pandemics and other crises.

The Emergency Administration and Planning (EADP) Endowed Undergraduate Scholarship - Established in the College of Health and Public Service, this fund was created to provide scholarships for undergraduate students seeking a degree in Emergency Management and Disaster Science.

The Emergency Management and Disaster Science Graduate Endowed Scholarship - The fund was established by the College of Health and Public Service to provide need-based scholarship support for graduate students in the Department of Emergency Management and Disaster Science.

Please join us in supporting the next generation of disaster professionals! Your gift empowers deserving students to achieve their dreams of finishing their education and becoming the impactful leaders of tomorrow.
